All Out Dubstep

Sweden based dubstep crew All Out Dubstep, was founded in 2007 by Irk, Trickykid, Systematic, Gena and L-wiz with the idea of becoming the biggest platform for dubstep music in Sweden.  They've championed the dubstep scene by hosting successful clubnights (featuring dubstep greats like Benga, Skream, Tes La Rock and many more) and even started their own record label (All Out Dubstep) and released a couple of 12" to boot. This mix is the brain-child of L-Wiz: free and exclusive for you to download and enjoy.

Ikonika

Time outs one to watch and new girl on the block in the newest London scene, UK funky. Ikonika was unearthed by scene leading label Hyperdub, her wonky dubstep situating itself somewhere between the hook-driven ditties Skream has made his own, and Kode 9's double-time arrangements. Ikonika comes with her own very unique, warped yet soulful bleep sound. With shape shifting beats that switch styles every few bars.

Championed by a certain Zane Lowe, the band are destined for great things in 2009 so catch them here first with their exclusive podcast for their friends at Fenchurch.

Toxic Avenger

French DJ Toxic Avenger is one of the top spinners in his home country and is turning quite a few heads over here thanks to his remix credentials and talent to mash up hardcore beats and grimey undertones in such a way that makes people run to the dancefloor – quite a talent. Having worked with the likes of Ladytron, Chromeo and Late of the Pier, check our Mr Avenger’s exclusive mix for Fenchurch. Rockin’

Goldierocks and Audio

First things first, Goldierocks, That's Sam Hall; twenty-four-year-old, blonde-haired vixen and rock n roll talent-spotter de jour. Now most renowned for her energized DJ appearances, invading parties and aftershows all over the land. Some highlights of late include playing to a rammed Cabaret tent at this summer's Reading Festival, hosting the closing parties of the Ibiza Rocks festival at Bar M on the white isle, warming up for Simian Mobile Disco at TDK Cross Central and playing main stage at the deliciously oddball Secret Garden Party in Cambridge. Check her podcast  and a feature about her in the forthcoming issue of Clash Magazine.

Useless Wooden Toys

Useless Wooden Toys originate from Cremona and released their debut album in 2004 fusing big beat, hip hop and funk, featuring collaborations from Italian rapper Esa and Matteo Gosi. After years in demand for their remixing skills, they have just released their follow up long player, Dancegum and have just released their first single from it, Carenza di Basso. They are busy bees but took time out of their busy schedule to put together an exclusive podcast for their friends at Fenchurch filled with funkadelic beats all with a hip hop vibe – an essential booty wiggling soundtrack.

Crazy P

Nottingham dance demons Crazy P started life as Crazy Penis before dropping the phallic reference for a good old P. Having just released their new album Stop Space Return and donning some very nice Fenchurch clobber for its launch party, the Crazy P crew have put together an exclusive podcast for the Fenchurch crew boasting exclusive tracks and never heard before mixes. Oozing disco beats and rustic rhythms, this is one mean podcast to shake your booty to.

Just Jack
(Mix No. 1)

Now, most of us know Just Jack for catchy ditty Starz in their Eyes that took over mainstream radio a few years ago and bagged him an Ivor Novello nod along the way. But our Jack has a few more strings to his bow than penning insightful social commentaries over some damn catchy beats; he’s a dab hand at the old mixing desk too. Here at Fenchurch, a talent like that has to be raved about and Jack being our mate, we asked him to don his mixing trousers and give us his best shot. And what a shot it is. At times scuzzy; at times poppy; but all the time, absolutely bangin’. Thanks Jack and we’ll see you on that dance floor.

Tronik Youth
(Mix No. 1)

Tronik Youth - aka London DJ Neil Parnell - is remix king having worked his magic on tracks by Gossip and The Rakes among others. Here we see him at his dirty electro best with an exclusive mash up for his lovely friends at Fenchurch. Boasting an exclusive mix of 80s-influenced electronica served with a huge dollop of Italian disco, check out brand new Soulwax edit of Walter Murphy and the Boys Noise mix of Love Can't Turn Around.

Uncle Buck

DJ duo Uncle Buck hail from our great capital where they produce hardcore dance tracks and mashed up beats while all the while never forgetting the indie geetar; such concoctions that prompted one such Zane Lowe to describe them as ‘spearheading the recent indie/dance crossover,’ high praise indeed. Having toured with the likes of Klaxons, The Futureheads and Sway, the ‘Buck’s latest offering is an exclusive podcast for their mates at Fenchurch and it is a stormer; scuzzy, electro and oh so danceable keep an ear out for Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams. Oh yes, it is that good.

DJ Will Saul

Resident DJ at London's "The End" and Berlin's "Weekend" Will Saul brings you the very mix of deep house with which he rocked The End on New Year's Eve Jan 1 2008. Will is also the brother of Bottletop founder Cameron Saul, nothing like keeping it in the Fenchurch family!

The Qemists

Brand new exclusive mix from The Qemists dark drum and bass metal mash-up, perfect for the Xmas season. Government Health Warning This is not for the faint-hearted, but we reckon you’ve got what it takes. Enjoy!

Julien Milan

The french masterclass of electro DJ's is here, and the name to look out for is Julien Milan. With his first release out on Boxon Records and with a string of nights sharing the bill with the likes of Para One, Julien is a regular fixture on the Boxon records party circuit. This Fenchurch exclusive mix is dark and dirty techno, not for the fluffy hearted!

Ben Westbeech

We’ve been rubbing our hands in anticipation over at Fenchurch HQ ever since Ben Westbeech agreed to do the next podcast. He doesn’t disappoint, here is a truly skitso mix that touches on all styles tunes that are doing it for him at the moment. To start things off, you have a taster from Brazil inspired by his recent trip out there, there's a bit of Baltimore hardcore and some deep, smack-you-up-side-your-head wonky house to get the blood flowing. Switch! For a little jazz dance and some leftfield beats and soul-tinged hiphop. Hell, where would we be without some feel good flavors and a funk 'rib' shaker to round it up. There you have it; a young master of the eclectic!

Fortsch

Resident DJ from Berlin's legendary Watergate club and editor of cult magazine Lodown, Fortsch give you this humble offering. Laid back melodies from Badly Drawn Boy blend into banging beats which culminate with a Chemical Brothers remix. Check it out, close you eyes and pictures yourself in Berlin! www.myspace.com/fortsch

Russ Jones

Fresh from producing the brand new Gypsy Beats and Balkan Bangers, Russ Jones, The Hackney Globetrotter, rounds up the best global beats to get you swinging this summer. Mixing genres with plain disregard for convention, you’ll find the Beatles siding up to Manu Chao with undiscovered Zokaand adding his usual touch of magic, this mix is pure smiles and happiness. You can catch Russ on his festival travels this summer including Womad, The Big Chill, Glastonbury, Lovebox and Pulse, to name a few. For more info on Russ or to find out about his hectic festival schedule check out http://myspace.com/russjones1

Ninja Tune DJ, DK

This mix by Ninja Tune DJ, DK is a taster for his brand new album 'Now, Listen Again!', www.ninjatune.net/shop/zencd123. This exclusive hour long 'Fenchurch' mix by the mighty DK features everything from old (and new) skool hip hop from Nas and DJ Vadim, heavy d'n'b from Pendulum, sweet springtime soul from 4 Hero, and even a bit of pub-funk from Ian Dury.
